HGSK Supports United Way Volunteer Event, Lehigh Valley Multi-Cultural Fest

As a law firm committed to bringing justice to residents throughout Eastern
Pennsylvania, Haggerty, Goldberg, Schleifer & Kupersmith, P.C. values
the trust local residents place in our firm during their times of need.
Aside from advocating on behalf of clients, our legal team is also passionate
about devoting our time to giving back and being active in the communities
that continually turn to us following preventable accidents and injuries
in the workplace. That’s why members of our firm recently participated
in two local events: The Big Cheese III at Penn State Berks and the Lehigh
Valley Multi-Cultural Fest.
- The Big Cheese III Meal Packing Event – The Big Cheese III was held this past weekend by United Way Berks at
PSU’s Berks Campus. Over the course of two days (June 16th – 17th),
hundreds of volunteers, including several HGSK team members, helped package
500,000 macaroni and cheese meals that will be distributed to those in
need in Berks County. In attendance on behalf of HGSK were Ana Amarante-Craig,
Shirley Colon (along with her husband and daughter), Gladys Huembes, Maria
Elena Castellon, and Beth Bowers. - Lehigh Valley Multi-Cultural Fest – Members of HGSK were also involved in the 2017 Multicultural Fest
hosted by Holy Infancy School on the Bethlehem Greenway. The festival
featured two days of entertainment, education, and cultural immersion
for families throughout the region, as well as plenty of delicious food.
Community resources, including information about legal services provided
by HGSK, were also available to local residents who attended the event.
Our firm is proud that our legal team shares a passion for being involved
in local events. As residents of Eastern Pennsylvania ourselves, we enjoy
playing a role in enriching our local communities and helping individuals
and families any way we can. In fact, we have additional upcoming events,
including legal clinics at the Bethlehem Area Public Library on Thursday,
June 22 and every 2nd and 4th Tuesday at the Hispanic American Organization in Allentown!
