Richard Orwig

As a career trial attorney Richard Orwig has forged the experience, technical expertise and driving enthusiasm to represent the rights and protection of injured persons with unbridled vigor. Richard has litigated cases throughout the Commonwealth from major cities to the surrounding rural judicial forums. He strongly believes that the key to successful litigation is forming a “team” with his clients and their family members to better understand the depth of their predicament, the losses they have endured, and the path to recovering fair compensation.

For Richard there is no such thing as a “client file.” Rather, he represents people who need help and look to someone they can trust and rely on. Richard recognizes the importance of a simple telephone call with his clients to establish clear communications and ongoing understanding of their condition. No call goes unreturned. Richard’s goal is to satisfy the client’s desire to “be made whole” and he gives his utmost ability and energy to make that happen.

Mr. Orwig is a graduate of Albright College, received his law degree from the Dickinson School of Law, and doctorate degree in Trial Advocacy from the Temple University Law School Graduate Program. He has served on the Board of Governors of the former Pennsylvania Association of Trial Lawyers (now the Pennsylvania Association of Justice). He has also served on the Board of Trustees, including Chairperson, of Kutztown University for over thirty years.

Mr. Orwig concentrates representing a myriad of injured persons from motor vehicle accidents, workplace injuries, bus and truck mishaps and individuals who are harmed falling and injuring themselves through no fault of their own.

Being a trial lawyer requires dedication to the law and appreciation for our court system of justice, as well as the willingness to take on difficult cases for persons who have no other recourse to protect themselves or their rights. Everyone deserves his/her “day in court” when harmed, and attorney Orwig is willing and able to champion the cause.
