Attorney A. Harold Datz has received numerous awards and accolades throughout
his career. He recently was named the recipient of the Philadelphia Bar
Association’s PNC Achievement Award in recognition of his “significant
accomplishments in improving the administration of justice in Pennsylvania”.
He was awarded the President’s Award for Distinguished Service by
the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association and was honored with inclusion on the
Super Lawyers® list. He is also a Board Member Emeritus of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers
Mr. Datz recently completed his thirteenth year of service on the Philadelphia
Bar Association's Commission on Judicial Selection and Retention.
He served as Chair of the Commission five times and as Vice-Chair four
times. Attorney A. Harold Datz is also a certified mediator for the Court
of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County. In fact, he is listed on the Roster
of Neutrals of Settlement Systems, Inc., and National Arbitration and
Mediation, Inc. He represented the surviving family members of 9/11 victims
as lawyer volunteer for Trial Lawyers Care (TLC). For his continuous pro
bono work, he was enrolled in the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania
Pro Bono Honor Roll in 2009.
